In accordance with provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals, Grupo de Especialistas Políticos, S.C. (GEP) provides the following privacy notice.

Grupo de Especialistas Políticos, S.C. (GEP) with registered office at Paseo de la Reforma # 231 Piso 9, col. Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06500, Ciudad de México, is responsible for collecting, using and protecting your personal data, in accordance with provisions of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals.

Personal data collected will be used for the following purposes: you provide us with personal information for us to give information about our services, provide services you have procured, inform you about changes or new services related to those procured, comply with obligations undertaken from you, evaluate the service quality, and conduct internal studies.

For the purposes indicated herein, we can collect your personal data in three ways:

  1. When you provide it directly to us;
  2. When you visit our website or use our online services; and
  3. When we obtain information through other sources provided by the Law.

We collect your personal data directly when you provide it by various means, such as when you give us information to provide a certain service. Data obtained this way are: name, profession, address, nationality, age, gender, marital status, contact, employment and billing.

Our website uses cookies and other technologies to monitor your behavior as an Internet user, as well as to provide a better service and user experience when browsing our website

Personal data obtained from these tracking technologies are the following: name, profession, address, nationality, age, gender, marital status, contact, and employment for the purpose described above. This information shall not be shared.

To check settings and disable them, if necessary, use the ‘Help’ tab, or ‘Tools’ for ‘Options’ or ‘Privacy’ settings of your browser. From there, you can delete cookies, or control them if you allow them installed. There are some browsers that allow you to install add-on software tools to block, remove or control cookies. We may obtain your information from other sources permitted by law, such as phone or work books, collecting your name, profession, address, nationality, age, gender, marital status, contact, employment and billing.

Likewise, we hereby inform you that in order to comply with the purposes set forth in this privacy notice, we DO NOT require collection of sensitive personal data.

We shall treat data under the strictest security standards to ensure confidentiality.

At all times, you have the right to Access, Rectify, Cancel your personal data, as well as to Oppose their treatment or revoke consent granted to us for this purpose, through the means we have implemented. These rights are known as ARCO rights.

To exercise any of these ARCO rights, you must submit the corresponding request in writing, by sending a free-form letter or request to the address: Paseo de la Reforma #231 Piso 9, col. Cuauhtémoc, C.P. 06500, Ciudad de México, or to the e-mail address juridicogep@gep.com.mx

This request must:

  1. Include name and signature of data owner, as well as an address, e-mail or other means to respond to your request within two weeks;
  2. Attach official documents certifying the owner’s identity;
  3. Include a clear and precise description of the personal data to which you will exercise the rights conferred by Law; and
  4. Include any element or document enabling location of such personal data.

To restrict use or disclosure of your personal data, not to be treated for marketing or advertising purposes by us, you can directly contact the Personal Data Department, located at Paseo de la Reforma # 231 Psio 9, col. Your personal data may be transferred and processed within and outside the country, by people other than this company, who shall be obliged to respect this privacy notice.

We shall not transfer your personal data to other third parties, unless these should be transferred to comply with legal obligations to competent authorities, given the professional services provided, such as tax authorities or judicial, federal or local authorities. Transfer of your data without your consent can also be made in cases provided for in article 37 of the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals, and in cases mentioned in the preceding paragraph, within cases of article 37, assuming transfers would be made in terms established by such Law.

We reserve the right to revise, at any time, modifications or updates to this privacy notice, for addressing legislative needs, internal policies or new requirements for provision of our services. These modifications or updates may be consulted at any time on our website www.gep.com.mx.

If you believe your right to protection of personal data has been infringed by any conduct of our employees, our actions or responses, and/or you presume that during processing of your personal data there is a violation of the provisions in the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Individuals, you may file the corresponding complaint to the IFAI.
